Description: 1950’s Dutch Celluloid Unmarked Dovina Style Boy and Girl Dolls. The boy doll's right leg is loose from his body but intact inside the well made felt pants. Otherwise, the dolls are in very good condition, very clean and well cared for. The girl doll can stand on her own, but the boy doll cannot with the detached leg. If he is placed in a doll stand or propped in a doll cabinet, he can stand. The costumes have mixed fabrics to include felt. The girl has a beautiful attached lace head covering and a necklace the boy has an attached felt cap. Their faces are beautifully handpainted and their eyes are vivid blue. Each are wearing wooden shoes. The girl does not have stockings or socks. Her shoes are removable. The boy dolls shoes appear to be affixed. Purchased at an estate sale.
