Description: Up for sale are 2 solid wood duck decoys. They were retired over 25 years ago. They both were produced in the city of Grand Mariais, Minnesota. I am selling some of my collection I obtained from my Uncle who resided in northern Minnesota. Both of these decoys were constructed using only 2 pieces of wood; head & body. Longer Decoy With Brass Eyes--This one is 9 1/4 in. long, 3 3/4 in. wide and is 3 1/2 in tall. It weighs 11 oz. The eyes are made of either copper or brass. There are no visible splits anywhere.Shorter Decoy With Painted Eyes. This one is 8 7.8 in. long, 3 3/4 in. wide and is 3 1/4 in. tall. It weighs 10 1/2 oz. The eyes have been painted so I don’t know what they are made of. Like the other one there are no visible splits anywhere.
