These were very difficult to capture the true shade of gold in photos. The first 5 photos show the color pretty closely. The photos of the cases looking bright gold -it is not an accurate representation. Believe these were custom made. Purchased at estate sale, the daughter of the owner told me her mother traveled extensively in Asia in the 1950's-1980's and I cannot find any labels or signs these were commercially produced.Wonderful fabric, has a very smooth and silky feel. Gold satin edging all around.I don't know the fabric content, could be silk, could be synthetic -I just don't know.Beautiful used as a table cover decor as well!Lovely condition, there are a few thread pulls ( one shown in photo).I love anything vintage Chinoiserie in style. I was raised near the SF Bay Area and it was in vogue at the time and so many of the estate sales in Pebble Beach of older residents still have that timeless and elegant design.
