Description: 2 Vintage Handmade Paul Mesner KC Theatre Marionette Puppets Prototypes Pop Head Ships UPS This 2 Vintage Handmade Paul Mesner KC Theatre Marionette Puppets Prototypes Pop Head is in fair to good condition. Some light all around wear, tiny tears or loose threads from use/storage. One puppet is unfinished, there are screws in the top of the head and a cut out on the back - it does not have a moving head. These are puppets previously used in the Paul Mesner Theatre in Kansas City MO. One character is dressed in patterned clothing & has a cap head that pops open when the string is pulled. The other has dark skin, a dress, & sandals. Puppet figure is mounted on a central stick attached to move the head from side to side & 2 rods attached to move the hands. Measures approx. 20" long. The sticks are cut to extend about 7" under the feet. Heads seem to be painted paper mache with light paint wear.
