Description: 2 Vintage 15x11" Framed Persian Art Prints, Chehel Sotoun Palace Isfahan IranThis pair of vintage wood framed art prints have a textured glossy finish. They both feature 17th century Persian art found in Chehel Sotoun Palace currently located in Isfahan Iran. One print features 2 men in traditional costumes serving tea - it is based off of a fresco in the palace. The second piece I've seen entitled "A Summer's Day" is based upon a mural in the same palace painted during the reign of Shah Abbas II 1642-1666.The framed pieces measure 15.5" wide by 11.5" tall with a 1" wide wooden frame. There are hooks on the backs for hanging. I believe the prints date from the mid to late 20th century. The tag on the back indicates they were professionally framed here in North Carolina. The condition is as shown in the photographs. Some imperfections I believe are based off of the condition of the originals as these prints seek to be replicas of those original pieces of art.
