Description: Two Rosenthal Netter Hen on Nest ceramic dishes. Made in Taiwan. The smaller one (8x6.25x6.25) features a bottom piece that looks like a basket. The larger one (8.75x7x8) features a more vertical linear pattern. Both are rare but the larger one is extremely rare due to its unique bottom piece. The coloring on both pieces is the same with a beautiful brown on top, a beige layer in the middle, and a milky white bottom that looks like vanilla bean ice cream. “Taiwan” is etched into the bottom of the larger piece (see photos). Rosenthal Netter was an American importer of decorative arts and home accessories. They are known for mid-century modern designs in collaboration with renowned artists all over the world. They operated from 1950 to the late 1970s. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or marks.
