Please note these have some differences since they are handmade. One mug is about 1/4" taller than the other. Glaze pattern is a little different too, of course. This is the beauty of handcrafted items. Colors in design include grey/stone, green, blue, brown & yellow. Earth tones. Handcrafted & signed on bottom "Lauer". I do not know the history of these, except that I bought them from original owner and was told they were never used. Signature could be Jim Lauer. You decide. It looks right to me, but I have no way to verify. Condition is excellent. No chips, cracks, or any other damage that I can detect. I am told they were never used, and they look. that way to me.
