When paused, the Goat Hair is still moving. Wispy thin hair is extremely durable like a synthetic material. The synthetic Polar Fiber head also moves like Marabou. With an additional silky sheen. When fish are lethargic or in a negative mood, this fly entices fish to bite. The Artic Goat Hair is a natural material with a beautiful taper. I am a firm believer in the use of a weedguard. It allows you to cast to cover that others pass by. They might cast to the edges but won't cast into the thick weedbeds, fallen trees or rock and rubble. With a weedguard you have the opportunity to fish those areas. It takes time and quality components to create these flies and they are priced accordingly.
