Description: This sale is for 2 very scarce shaped sterling spoons from the 1901 Pan American exposition in Buffalo NY. Both have figural skillet or pan shaped bowls. The pair weigh 27 grams each and measure about four and 3/4 inch long and the bowls are about 1 and 7/8 inch across. Spoon number one has an engraved view of the 1901 electric tower and has the Pan American Expo across the top. Spoon number 2 has an engraved view of North and South America with subtle nudes in each country and also states Pan Am Expo 1901 Buffalo NY USA around the outside. This pan has some minor dents in the flat of the pan. See pictures for best description, selling as is as described. Very rare examples of this Expo and as far as that goes a rare example of any sterling souvenir spoon. 11-16-2024
