Yes, water will not pass through them if the bonding process is done correctly;How can they be fixed? It is necessary to remove any and all remnants of the old cover, use a tool or a toothpick to help you remove the parts that may have been stuck in the housing. Clean with isopropyl alcohol after this procedure. Contact glue is used (Gorilla Glue works great, B-7000, T-7000), applied to both parts and following the instructions. Use thin layers, otherwise the fit won't fit properly! I let it dry for the indicated time and then join the parts together. Gently press the cover when attaching it to the housing to prevent it from tearing! If you don't want to hold the parts while the adhesive works, you can use adhesive tape to tighten the cover against the communicator housing.
