Description: A pair of fantastic albums of original photography capturing various American and Canadian motorsports events in the early 1980's with an emphasis on Formula One races in Long Beach and Montreal. Also covered are what appear to be some IndyCar and IMSA events. I can also identify Road America in some signage and I believe about a dozen or so views are of one of the F1 Caesars Palace Grands Prix in Las Vegas. The years are not identified nor precisely known to me but many of racing in Montreal in the rain suggest 1981 and the print qualities, etc... in the group further suggest right around then (let's say about 1980-1983 to be approximate). Many famous drivers, car owners, etc... are pictured including Mario Andretti, Niki Lauda, Frank Williams, Nigel Mansell, etc... There is also a series of Desire Wilson, an early woman driver. There are a ton of images shown here and I am happy to provide further views and answer any questions you might have. As far as i can tell these are unpublished images from an avid, possibly professional. photographer and there are two albums here, each with a bit more than 400 color snapshots each, for a total of 800+ original photographs.
