Description: A striking pair of late 19th-century dinner plates by Wileman (Foley Potteries) in the 'Victoria' pattern with a brown transferware decoration of roses, birds, prunus blossoms, and geometric accents with further added hand-painted enamel coloration. They measure 10 1/4" in diameter. In very good pre-owned, antique condition with no chips or repairs--there is expected overall glaze crazing, wear to the gold rim trim, and a hairline crack to one as shown. Marked with both an impressed and printed mark to the underside. Thank you for your interest and please click on ‘See other items’ above right to view our other, possibly related, listings.
