Description: You're looking at 2 adaptor cables 2 feet long used for connecting vintage and reissued pro audio gear which use barrier strips. They are built using Canare Star QuadL-4E6S audio cable and Neutrik Gold XLR"s. These cables are great for making connections to standard XLR gear from UREI and Universal Audio LA2A’S, LA3A’S, and 1176’s, Pultec Tube EQ's and other 60’s to 80’s tube gear and solid state units with screw terminals. The lugs are #6 and terminated using WBT Silver Solder. 1 termination resistor is included for proper matching older 600 ohm gear. The length of these can be modified to your specs if you wish. Note: If you need 2 input adaptors or 2 output adaptors instead of 1 each, that is no problem, just let me know what you'd like. Termination resistors: Transformer outputs on some tube gear are usually designed to drive 600 ohm inputs. Modern audio gear has an impedance of 10k or more. Connecting a 600 ohm output to a 10k input tends to cause “ringing”. The termination resistor corrects this issue.
