Description: Offered are these two vintage soft cover cookbooks from Florida. Included is the 1973 cookbook, "Party Foods", produced by the Brevard County Cooperative Extension Service, and the spiral-bound soft cover cookbook "Home Cooking Secrets of Merritt Island", produced by the Extension Homemakers of Merritt Island, Florida. It is undated but probably from the same time period. Both have some black and white illustrations. Both are rare, possibly unique finds; at the time of original listing I could not find another copy of either one for sale on eBay or anywhere else. Both books are in poor to fair condition, obviously frequently-used! "Party Foods" is approx. 10 3/4" x 8 1/4" and contains 48 pages. It is missing its cover but I don't see any other missing pages. The pages are well-attached to the staples, but there are some edge tears and creasing. The pages have browned and occasional stains. "Merritt Island" is approx. 9" x 6 1/4" and contains 48 pages, plus a few extra appendix pages in the back. The cover is well-attached to the spiral binding, but has wear and considerable staining. The pages are also well-attached and have no major tears, but also have browned and have staining. A few additional loose recipes are also included. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
