Description: Here is wonderful copy of Siri Hustvedt’s third published novel What I Loved. This is a first edition first printing as shown on the copyright page published by Henry Holt And Company in 2003. Hustvedt is of course the wife of fellow novelist Paul Auster one of my favorite authors still writing today. This copy is truly nice. The binding is square, tight, and the text is immaculate throughout. The mauve colored boards are spotless as is the black cloth spine as shown. The gold gilt lettering is bright and beautiful. The spine ends do have “rounding” and some wear also as shown in the photos provided. There is some “bumping” to the two upper corners and this copy has a black remainder dot on the upper page block. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap. This jacket does have wear. There is heavy wear to the upper spine end and much much lighter wear to the bottom end. There is heavier wear to the top two corners of this jacket and much lighter to the bottom front corner. As with her two previous novels , she selects the most interesting characters and locales to express her imagination and cause her readers to think and dream. Please see all pics and ask any questions you may have and as always I never list ex library or book club editions so buy with confidence. And please check out my 100% positive seller feedback!!! Thanks for looking.
