The Viking was initially in dispute over copyright with Falcon, and it cost them $20,000 in court. *Falcon believed this design was entirely too similar to their Falcon design and was ultimately successful in court, forcing Dr Grabow to change the design and include a new Nomenclature. "This is a rare early Viking, with no patent and just Viking stamped in an unusual spot, Near the Bit." The Later Vikings would add Dr Grabow, Fins and chrome along with the Spade inlay on the side of the stem. Fully Refurbished Dr Grabow Viking Aluminum Radiator Tobacco Pipe with Briar Bowl.
