Description: Please help us with our son’s hospitals’ and ambulance rides’ bills! Welcome to Caravan Comics! In this auction, we have the one-of-its-kind Uncanny X-Men #266 Mark Jewelers Newsstand Variant, signed by writer Chris Claremont and cover artist Andy Kubert! In addition, you will receive three longboxes full of major keys, minor keys, incentive/ratio variants, store variants, newsstand variants, Canadian Price variants, etc. Most range in the 9.4-9.8 range and would be great to grade. I double-board many of my comics, especially keys and others of higher value, keeping them in nice condition. Many of them are DC, though there are also Boom! Image, Marvel and other Independent press titles. There are also some KickStarter comics, too. There's a lot of upside to DC right now with every casting decision and social media post from James Gunn driving obscure comics' prices skyward. WSeriosuly, who expected Creature Commandos would be Gunn's starting point when DC hit reset on the DCEU?I'm selling off large chunks of my comic collection to pay those emergency room and ambulance costs for our two-year-old son over the last year. I never wanted to part with the 1st Gambit but needs must. All of this will be shipped with the utmost care such that the longboxes are reinforced to prevent piercing or denting, waterproofed in case UPS or USPS were to leave the boxes on your doorstep, and padding inside to prevent comics from shifting around. The slab will be packed completely separately with the same level of detailed care. Apologies but due to the weight and size of the longboxes, I won't be offering this one outside of the United States, barring someone somehow making that easy for me.There are no refunds. Raw comics are sold as-is. I won't be auditing and creating a list but I've photographed some of the first higher-ticket comics I saw in the box, for examples. But there are many more.and for the rest of the boilerplate... Thanks for browsing! If you have any questions, please ask! We are proud to have earned 100% feedback during 15 years across all platforms – ebay, Shortboxed, HipComic, ComicsPriceGuide and MySlabs. We are proud to ship in as eco-friendly manner as we can. This includes using re-used materials and limiting plastic as much as we can – we only buy plastic tape and comic polybags – everything else is reused. When we use padding in your packaging, unless there is bubble wrap or other plastic packing items that we have on hand to reuse, we use honeycomb paper. This is excellent, recyclable, reusable or burnable (a little bit makes for a good campfire starter). International Customers! Want to save money? Look into a Mail Forwarding service – it could help! Here are some options: https://www.postgrid.com/mail-forwarding-services/ (disclaimer: we are not responsible for any problems with any of these services – use at your own risk). Thank you for considering us! Condition: Items being sold are in the condition shown in the photographs - what you see is what you get. Please look carefully at the photos provided and, if you’re concerned with the specific condition of a trade paperback, raw comic, hardcover, poster, etc. ask for more photos. Raw Comics: We do our best to grade these as if we were sending them to CGC. We’re not professional graders. All sales on raw comics are final. See below for more details. Graded comics are in ebay’s ‘Brand New’ condition, unless otherwise noted – when these arrive, we inspect them, photograph them, add a BCW sleeve and put them away until they’re sold. These’re kept in and will ship in the plastic CGC sleeve – the sleeve may be damaged but your slab will be as shown in the photos. Graphic novels and other items may have stickers, stamps, remainder marks or other markings on the outside or inside covers (ex. “From the collection of,” “Discontinued from X Library”, Dewey Decimal stickers, etc.). Shipping: Graded Comics: Graded comics ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx (our choice) with signature delivery confirmation –the only way we can verify if the item arrived at your address. We’re not liable for stolen items once delivered - mail theft happens to us, too. Graded comics may gain Newton rings in transit - we will not grant refunds for these. CGC says this is somewhat expected and it does not diminish the grade. Graphic novels: All items ship securely - sealed shut from water and mailed in a rigid envelope or Gemini-type mailer. We pack items securely to hedge against the shippers or others throwing them around or putting heavy stuff on top. Raw comics: Chances are, unless you’re buying a raw comic that’s marked “reader copy,” you care about things like spine tics, reader’s markers, scratches, dent, discoloration, blunt corners, etc. We do, too. We will package your raw comic(s) between multiple pieces of study cardboard and, where necessary or helpful, bubble wrap/honeycomb rap. We’ll try to make these watertight, too, and we won’t use excessive tape nor any tape that can’t be cut through by a very shallow utility knife cut. Problems: If there’s any problem, please contact us, and please do so before leaving negative feedback. We wish to make sales satisfactory to buyers. We will work with you if there’s a tracking problem with the shipper and ask that you do what’s necessary on your end. Your local USPS will help track items by the GPS with the truck and tracking bar code scanner, something we can’t request on my end, as far as we’ve seen. We cannot issue refunds for lost items unless they are returned to us. If we need to pay to re-accept the item, we will deduct the original shipping price and any eBay fees from the refund. If you still wish to have the item, please arrange/pay for the new shipping by sending us a label by eBay messages (.jpg/.jpeg only – Print Screen and crop a PDF), by link or by PayPal. Do let me know and provide photographic evidence if your item is considerably damaged. We’re not liable for damage caused by the shippers but if an item was insured, we can file a claim. RAW COMICS: Comics grading is not supposed to be subjective. The standards CGC, CBSC, PGX and others use are according to their published criteria (each uses their own, but pretty common among them) and there may be defects on raw copies. Disclaimer: We’re not certified graders and any notation of a grade or condition on a raw comic or other item, with the exception of actual third-party graded items, i.e. slabs, is only our best estimation. No refunds will be granted for not receiving, for example, a 9.8 NM+/M/GEM raw comic – we do not guarantee any raw comic is any grade. All items’ photographs are retained to identify any defects present when the item was shipped. Some defects may not be shown in photos. These include spine tics, indentations, blunted corners, small creases or folds (crease for us = bent back 100%, fold = bent but doesn't break color and is possibly fixable through pressing), scratches. grime, foxing, yellow, off-white or other-color pages, loose or even tarnished/rusty staples, markings and more. Items will have all pages included and, except where notated, all will be stapled as originally stapled. We do not restore books, so you will find no restoration on our part (restoration may have been done by a previous owner). But please know – we’re collectors, too, so we’re not trying to pull a fast one over you. All raw comics sales are final – there are no returns nor exchanges.
