Description: Here is an absolutely beautiful collectible copy of Hayduke Lives! by Edward Abbey. This is a first edition first printing published by Little,Brown in 1990. This copy is superb. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The tan boards are spotless and the orange cloth spine and gold gilt lettering is bright and beautiful as shown. A previous owner has his name and address on a sticker to the inside front board. But if you ask me, it’s a small thing. He also has his personal library impress to the front and rear orange endpapers as shown. Between pages 152 and 153 there is a slight separation with absolutely no effect on the strength of this binding. Purely cosmetic. There are three small indents on the rear board as shown in the images posted but again very very small. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap. The aforementioned indents have their impressions on the rear panel. The front flap has some wrinkling at the top and that is it. I’m all about 100% transparency so don’t let the length of the description frighten you. This copy is truly amazing and will make a wonderful addition to any collection or library.
