Description: Late 19th century gold or jeweler scales with three weights. Comes in simple wood box with hook clasp. One of the hinges has an old repair on the interior. The divider for the weights needs to be re-glued. The brass pans have replaced threads for chains. The balance appears to be in good condition. The scale is 6 1/4" wide. The brass pans are 2 3/4" in diameter. There are two weights marked 2 oz, 1 oz, and I assume the smallest may be 1/2 oz.
