Description: Circa 1870-80 architectural fragment, a carved wood lifesize skull and crossbones remnant that came from a Midwest odd fellows lodge. Originally salvaged from a large ornately carved flagpole stand at the lodge. Finely detailed, in original salvage condition, with hand forged nails. You can see the square nail construction and old worm damage. Measures 8” tall by 14” wide by 3.5” deep. Free stands, can be made to hang. Incredible fraternal, macabre, folk art treasure.
