Description: In its condition it is a beautiful celadon plate with a fluted interior design and a center motif of flora and fauna surrounded by the fluting. The age of the plate is from the 2nd half 19th century period (1850-1899). Celadon, unlike Blue and White ceramics, rarely have a Chinese Chop mark to help identify their age. This plate was collected in the 1950s from an antiques dealer and its provenance was as stated above. This large plate (platter/dish) measures approximately 14 inches in diameter and about 2 5/8 inches high.
