Description: You are bidding on a nice French 8 day mantel clock i dont know much about this clock sit on my mothers mantel for 30-40 years had it looked at and was told it is from the 1880s first thing is it needs a good cleanning and the chimes work but i think the clock was wound to tight so the clock does not currently work. But the chimes do now on the back side someone has put a small screw in it you cant see it from the front but it is there and has been added and one of the back legs has been soldered again its on the back cant be seen and 1 more thing on the front center lower middle decoration it is loose not broken but a little loose this does come with key.I found a couple of these clocks one sold for $1700 and there is another one on ebay asking $3200 mine is quite a bit less.This ships fully insured to the lower 48 only No P.O boxes Thanks for looking
