Beautiful Indian princess was sent to tempt him and when he could not hold on to his chastity vow, he lost his magical powers, and the rain returned. Wonderful early carving, beautiful flow to the lines of their robes. Deep himotoshi, pleasant wear and warm patina. Height 2 1/2 inches.
