Designed by Tim Adcock.Five individual pieces make up this original 6mm scale Armageddon Pattern Epic Basilisk Assault Gun gun model. Armed with a 132mm Earthshaker cannon. This metal miniature will be received in its separate pieces, it was just placed together with Blu-Tack in the pictures to fully show what it looks like. This miniature can be seen in the Citadel catalogue 1998 here:DELETED!I truly feel that the Basilisk artillery models of this era were the best that GW made. The later Basilisk that was shown in the 2004 Specialist Games catalogue, as a part of the Steel Legion artillery company was nowhere near as good. Many of this era of Epic models were available in variant parts. The earlier produced ones often had more parts than the later versions. Exactly the same looking model but rather than separate tracks making three parts, they all came as one piece. This occurred with the various hulls, tracks, turrets and weapons. I assume they were considered to have too many pieces initially and it was easier to produce them in less parts. Personally I prefer the earlier versions as there was just so much choice with different bulldozer blades and hatches.
