This cool lamp base stands approximately 10" tall from the top of the lightbulb socket to the bottom, and features a 3-D relief Space Jam logo. The bottom of the lamp base features a cool space star pattern. There is a small chip at the bottom edge of the foot of the base that is not easy to see, but we are mentioning it so you are aware of it before purchasing. It does not interfere with the display of this very cool piece. As you can see in our photos, the lamp works and the base illuminates for an awesome 3-D glow night light. A switch on the back controls the light and lets you choose to have both the lamp and the night light on or just the night light. The lamp does not come with its Space Jam lamp shade. This base could be easily paired with a shade of your choosing. The light bulb socket has the original sticker that states to use a 60W bulb or smaller. Please follow these directions for safety.
