1993 MERCURY BLACK MAX 625-5250 "CONNECTING ROD" 175 HP OUTBOARD .015

Description: You are looking at a "CONNECTING ROD” for the MERCURY BLACK MAX 175 HP OUTBOARD MOTOR. This may fit other engines as well. You get what you see in the pictures. This engine was turned into a donor engine when they ended up having problems with the lower end. It had nothing to do with the engine. In fact, it was a casing issue, not a mechanical issue at all. You will see a little discoloration on the connecting rod and piston. Just on the surface and can be wiped off for the most part. They could use a dip in their favorite thing: OIL! Everything turns nicely - including the bolts. I can't guarantee the piston because there is a little notch taken out on the side. It's pretty small - but it's there. Please look at the last picture to reference what I'm speaking of. So this sale is just for the connecting rod and that is it. I'm sending the unit as it looks in the picture to you. If you don't want to use the piston - then throw it away. Your getting the piston for free either way.
