This listing is for a t-shirt produced for the March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay, and Bi Equal Rights and Liberation that took place on April 25, 1993. This is a black, short-sleeved, crewneck shirt, with no specific designer listed, though it was probably produced directly by the organizing committee. The shirt is a 100% preshrunk cotton Fruit Of the Loom shirt and has the phrase "The 1993 March On Washington For Lesbian, Gay, and Bi Equal Rights and Liberation" on the front of the shirt, with an image of the Capitol Building. There is no design on the back of the shirt. The tag on the neck of the shirt includes instructions for machine washing. The shirt was washed using fabric softener right before the time it was initially listed here. The shirt is listed as being an Adult size Large. HOWEVER, since not all shirts are sized equally, please regard these measurements that were taken when the shirt is lying flat to judge the actual size of the shirt: 27" from top of the back of the neck to the bottom of the hem5.25" width of the neck hole15" length from the edge of the neck to the end of the sleeve20.5" width from armpit to armpit20.75" width across hem at bottom The shirt is vintage, pre-worn. There is a small 'loop' loose at the back of the neck, as shown in the 8th photo. There is a slight misprint in the words "For" and "Lesbian", where some of the color dropped out. There is some discoloration at various areas of the shirt, that look as though they may have occurred during the design transfer. These include several areas of white 'spotting' on the front of the shirt, many of which have been pictured. We did not attempt to remove those marks, and do not know if they can be removed. There are no visible holes or tears in the shirt. The pictures show the actual item that the winner will receive.
