Joe Pesci wins Best Supporting Actor for Goodfellas, Whoopi Goldberg best supporting actress - Ghost, Kevin Costner best director - Dances With Wolves. **Ticket seat is Row 1 Front Orchestra - definitely a VIP's ticket. I attended the event telecast and then the governors ball where I picked up a left behind envelope on an empty table with two full tickets inside and the name "Tom Cruise" embossed on inside card stock. See attached pic. Handwritten in red ink on that card stock is the words "Governors Ball, Table 141 and "Paula Wagner". Paula Wagner became Tom's partner in a production studio the next year in 1992 and is the person Tom credits for getting him started in the movie business as his first agent, while she was at CAA. Tom presented the Best Director Award to Kevin Costner for Dances with Wolves. The full ticket intact without the stub being torn off suggests these were VIP tickets and were treated differently upon entrance. While I can not authenticate that this ticket was one of two issued to Tom Cruise for this event, I have no doubt it was. Population of full tickets graded for this event by PSA is 2! Both 8's.
