Description: When new batteries had been installed the screen lit up and the brightness dial worked. The only sound was when using headphones, but it was just when it was switched from VHF To UHF and when switched on or off. Analog signals are about non-existent so I'm not sure if an exterior antenna would help. Tuning switched sends a red or green bar scanning across the screen depending on UHF or VHF setting. Sold as found and batteries are not included. We do not do returns on vintage electronics they are sold for parts or to repair.
