Description: 1990, YellowMark- Shou (fermented)_Menghai (HuangChaYie)_600gr (broken)_ company: CNNP Available sizes: 100 gr, 150 gr, 200 gr., 300 gr., 600 gr. or as you wish. The minimum size is 100 grams. This broken parts originally were pressed in cakes, however, during transportation in racks from Yunnan to Hong Kong, some had broken. Thus, the broken parts price was cut too. Nevertheless, their taste and quality remained the same. Original, unbroken cake would be very pricy due to its quality and age. Story: It was produced by the China National Native Produce (CNNP). The company was the original state-owned company that managed all of the major tea factories in Yunnan, including Menghai, Xiaguan, Kunming. The company was privatized in the 1990s, but CNNP kept its logo '中茶', that comes with different colour. Taste: it has its own characteristic, a strong smell and taste, with camphor and cinnamon. ORIGIN & QUALITY:Due to the high possibility of getting cheap, fake or different pu-erh tea from China for your money, I prefer to buy them in Taiwan from a pu-erh tea expert and trader. (The oldest teas are being bought and kept by Taiwanese in the last 3 decades, therefore outside of TW it is very rare to find older pu-erh tea than 20 yrs old).PRICE:For this price - a fair price for the quality and trustable pu-erh tea - you get what you ordered and if you aren't satisfied, you can send it back, as long as you haven't destroyed the tea cake & package.If you find this tea cheaper, that is probably something else, might be from the latest, new harvest but not aged pu-erh tea.
