Description: Up for sale is an official soft cover publication containing a complete set of twenty-seven mint 1989 United States Postal Service Commemorative Stamps. The book is part of an Official Annual Publication series issued by the United States Post Office. For a number of years, packaged year-sets with real commemorative stamps in specially designed folders/albums were produced by the United States Postal Service. Many of these are now very difficult to obtain in nice condition. The commemorative stamps of this year were all mounted on their descriptive pages by me. The beautifully done book features 30 pages of specially designed materials which includes discussions of the stamps produced that year. The table of contents summarizes the topics as: Steamboats (4 different, attached) Washington Statehood North Dakota Statehood Lou Gehrig House of Representatives Senate Executive Branch Drafting of the Bill of Rights America/PUAS Prehistoric Animals (4 different, attached) Ernest Hemingway North Carolina Statehood South Dakota Statehood Letter Carriers Montana Statehood Arturo Toscanini French Revolution A. Philip Randolph World Stamp Expo '89 Christmas (2 different) The book and stamps are in like-new condition; it has been gently read and remains in clean, unmarked condition. All pages are intact and the spine is strong. Pages have no hand-written notes, inscriptions, or highlighting. I am the original owner of the book and it has been carefully saved as a collectible. The original price for the set was $14.50. All photos are of the book and stamps up for sale.
