Description: This is a vintage 1989 Indiana Jones Khyber Bowie Knife or Machete with genuine leather sheath and COA in original box from United Cutlery, UC501. The 24 inch knife has an 18 inch stainless steel blade with a full tang and a plain edge. There is a solid brass blade spine. The handle is made of hardwood and features a solid brass eagle head pommel and relief sculpted solid brass finger guard. The fixed blade knife is an original piece and was manufactured in Taiwan. This vintage collectible is an impressive knife, not a toy, and it is heavy with a good amount of stainless steel in the blade. Treat it with respect to prevent injury. CONDITION: Very good Preowned condition. Some green spots on the brass and scuffs on the brown leather (but not the black edges) of the sheath makes me wonder if they were made that way to make them look used. Some spotting on the blade. It has the original cardboard sleeve to protect you from the knife’s edge. Shelf wear to the edges of the box. It has certainly been handled but it is unlikely that it has been used. As pictured.
