Description: As a fashion model in the 80s, Barbie had to stay trim, so why wouldn’t she have outfits to work out in? Here is just such an outfit, Barbie cool, with its stretchy pink fabric infused with silver threading, the body suit has a silver “modesty” skirt and fancy flower embellishment. I don’t see an official Barbie label so this may have been made by some company other than Mattel. I added pink Uggs, a floral tote, a cellphone, and butterfly hair clips. Inside the tote are a pair of white sneakers, two white barbell hand weights, and a molded, rolled-up aqua (I think) towel. The 1988 Style Magic Barbie comes with. She has a twist ‘n turn waist, bendable knees, arms bent at the elbow, and the crazy hair that was supposed to allow all kinds of styling possibilities but that in reality is impossible to wrangle easily. Both the doll and her outfit have been tenderly protected from the harmful elements of “the Real World,” part of an adult collector’s stash. Please note that shipment from my little Indiana town is limited to the continental U.S. but feel free to purchase if you are willing to arrange shipping through an independent service.
