It pictures Moritz Daffinger who was an Austrian miniature painter and sculptor. He lived from 1790 until he died in the cholera epidemic of 1849. "Standard Catalog of World Paper Money" (Modern Issues 1960-) by Albert Pick. #148. Face: WIEN (Vienna) AM 1 OKTOBER 1986 • Dark brown and brown on multicolor underprint. • Moritz Daffinger. Back: B 629908 M • The Albertina museum in Vienna, where I would think, Daffinger's works may be seen. The Note: A presentable, still somewhat crisp note. It saw use and has been folded and lightly soiled. It has a couple of small edge tears but no pinholes. The note will be sent in a new currency holder that protects it.
