This is a larger, handmade, silver and gold tone metal buckle with 2 red gem mounts, signed "R. Maynard", Frontier Buckles. It is in pretty decent condition, as shown in the photos it does have tarnish / patina, and some wear and tear from age or use. It measures approximately 4-1/4" x 3-1/8", fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and weighs about 3 oz.
