This is the undated 1985 two dollars currency note. This banknote has a black design over green, blue and yellow underprint. It depicts the image of John MacArthur to the right of the front with the image of a sheep in the center. The back has the same color scheme as the front with the portraits of William Farrer to the left and wheat at center. The front also has the denomination written in words (TWO DOLLARS) along the left edge and as numerals in the top two corners. The note has the signatures of R.A. Johnston and B.W. Fraser on the front in black. This particular note has the serial number 708399 displayed twice in black on the front but not on the back. It is series LDT. The banknote has a water mark depicting captain James Cook's head. A nice uncirculated note, which would make a great addition to your collection of Australian banknotes.
