They did three poses for the ADD79 Mind Flayers and each of these poses had 3 head variants. Mind Flayers have psionic powers and are also known as Illithids (The capital i looks like an L, so that's illithid). There are also other variants of this monster in the game. The Alhoon, also known as the illithilich or Mind Flayer Lich. Mind Flayers are high level creatures, so an Undead Liche version will open the eyes of most adventurers.
