The ball was signed in spring training of that year, so one of the signatures is Rick Leach. Leach was cut on the same day the Tigers made a trade that helped propel them to the 1984 World Series title - landing Willie Hernandez and Dave Bergman from the Philadelphia Phillies. So this is a tough ball to find. It's a Detroit Tigers team baseball as opposed to an official American League ball.
