1983 Nike Sky Force Hi Sz 13 Goonies Data Roller Skates Jordan 80s Original VTG

Description: Offered for sale is a 1983 pair of Size US 13 Nike Sky Force High in iconic White / Blue colorway that was worn in the 1985 Goonies film by Jonathan Ke Quan as his character Data / Richard Wang. This pair was originally customized/modified into roller skates so further modifications would be required if next owner desires to turn these into the Data’s oil slick shoes from the film! Pair is being sold as pre-owned/used in worn condition. Roller skates are functional and wheels turn, however could like use some maintenance/service as these have not be used since the 80s. The fact that the front rubber brakes are worn leads me to believe this pair was originally worn by someone who knew was probably proficient at roller skating! Original patina and rubber outsoles are firm/flexible with no signs of dry rot or hardening. Pair does not appear to had much use before being converted to skates. Pair could be converted back into sneakers if next owner wanted to remove the roller skate plates and fill in the mounting holes. Sock liner is worn and padding is dry rotted throughout. There are some some soft spots, but definitely some crunch on both shoes. Still wearable especially for Copley/costume use but could use replacing if next owner plans to make these more into daily drivers. Insoles are well worn/weathered and would recommend replacement insoles as well. Tongues and original laces could use a good deep cleaning as well.
