Description: 1981 Univega Super Special frameset, 60 cm. Made with Tange Champion 1 tubes. Frame and fork only, in a beautiful pinkish red with a light pearlescent underneath. Made in Japan.This was Univega's top tier racing offering that year and came built with Campagnolo Super Record components. It was made by Miyata and it is speculated that it is very similar if not the same as a Team Miyata frameset of the same year. Frame measurements:top tube is 22" c-t-cseat tube is 23" c-t-c and 23.5" c-t-tRear spacing is 126mm.Takes 27.2mm seat post.68mm English threaded bottom bracket shell.It has Campagnolo dropouts all around. Fork is fully chrome plated under the paint, as are the chainstays on the frame. It is in excellent condition for it's age with minimal wear to the paint. There are only a handful of small marks and a couple paint chips. No dings or dents and absolutely no signs of rust. The insides of the tubes are pristine!Shippied via UPS ground to the lower 48 only.Thank for looking!
