Description: 1981 TAKAMINE F-375SW ACOUSTIC GUITAR -Includes plush case -The F-375 shares many of the same appointments with the Martin D-35, which made it part of the Takamine “Lawsuit Era” -The guitar was constructed in Japan by the master Luthiers at Takamine using high quality, aged tone woods. -Solid Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides with a beautiful 3-piece Brazilian Rosewood laminate on the back. -This is the rarer "SW" version as opposed to the "S", the difference being wood binding throughout as well as wooden dot inlays on the Rosewood fretbaord. -SERIAL NUMBER: 81060470 Japanese-built Takamine guitars made between 1962 and mid/late 2012 can be reliably dated from the eight-digit serial numbers typically found at the neck block inside the instruments. The first two digits designate the year of manufacture, followed by two digits denoting the month. The remaining four digits denote the instrument’s sequential number of manufacture among all the instruments made during the month indicated.
