Description: This sale is for one football program from an NCAA game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Louisiana State Tigers played on September 12, 1981 at Notre Dame Stadium. This program is 43+ years old, has 78 pages and is in GOOD condition. NOTE ON CONDITION: there are NO markings anywhere EXCEPT the score is written above each team on the center roster page (see photo). There are NO missing pages. The front cover has a slight triangular fold (not a crease) across the bottom 1/4. Bottom right corner has a slight ding. The front of the program depicts an artist's rendering of four great former Notre Dame players, Ziggie Czarobski (76), Leon Hart (82), George Conner (81) and John Lujack (32). All four played together on the national championship teams of 1946 & 1947. The back cover features a "Quest for the Rings" video game ad. The center 7-Up ad features sports legends Mike Schmidt, Magic Johnson, Sugar Ray Leonard, and George Brett. Starting quarterbacks were Blair Kiel for Notre Dame and Alan Risher for LSU. Head Coaches were Gerry Faust for Notre Dame and Jerry Stovall for LSU.
