Description: Wisconsin estate auction find. I don't know what you would call this political campaign item for Jimmy Carter. So I'm going with a streamer. It is paper wound up on a stick and unfurled to over 9 feet. My guess is that is was used at the 1980 Democratic Convention in New York. But I do not know. You decide. Neat oddball campaign collectable from the peanut farmer from Georgia. I sat with the man in a green room for about five minutes before a fund-raising event in the 1990s. Just him and me. I was a nobody. He was a former U.S. president. Nice man. Humble and unassuming. He was the best ex-president we've ever had. IMHO. Too bad he's on his way out as I write this.
