Description: I believe this to be the First Book Club Edition of Jailbird by Kurt Vonnegut. There is a book club edition notch bottom right corner of back board. The copyright page states, First Delacorte Printing; back of dust jacket has the photo of Kurt Vonnegut smoking a cigarette while sitting on a bed talking on the phone. The book is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The only wear issue is some light soiling on the front cover of the dust jacket - there looks to be some remnants of a cup outline and a few dots of soiling. Black cloth boards with gilt and silver front cover and spine letters and decoration, no wear. Bright orange page tops, no interior marks in 246 clean and solidly bound pages. Two articles found in the front of the book, one newspaper (undated) and one magazine (dated 9/10/1979). They will be conveyed in a plastic sleeve. B100
