1978 Bruce Springsteen Capitol Theater Program and Full Ticket Bruce’s Birthday

Description: This is for an original full ticket and program from the legendary Bruce Springsteen concerts which were held in September of 1978 at the Capitol Theater in Passaic New Jersey. The unused ticket is from the September 21 performance where the band and crew would wheel Bruce out an early birthday cake with a special scantily clad young lady inside. These three shows (19, 20 and 21) would be Bruce’s homecoming back to New Jersey and would be the start of the Darkness on the Edge of Town tour. All three shows were recorded and become known as the “Passaic Trilogy” and are some of the most infamous bootlegs ever recorded. The first nights recorded show was know as “Piece De Resistance” and would also be broadcast on FM radio while the second nights performance would be recorded as “Douceur de Vivre”. This final birthday show would be known as the “Coup De Grace”. The ticket does have a crease in the center but when displayed with the program, both look amazing. This will probably be your only chance to pick up both items for one price.
