Description: This limited edition 1977 Queen's Silver Jubilee Album of First Day Cover Stamps commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Accession of Queen Elizabeth II. This album will be a great addition to any stamp collection or collection of memorabilia associated with the Royal Family! The album includes a complete set of 56 First Day Covers from the United Kingdom, it's territories, and other independent Nations the Queen reigned at the time. Each stamp has a first day of issue postmark and includes an interesting historical writeup on each. Also included is a book with a summary of the Queens Silver Jubilee Album and "A Perspective on the British Monarchy" by Kathleen Sommers. This album also includes some cards that appear to have been replaced due to some typo's. The stamps have been kept in their album and are all in excellent (or better) condition. The blue felt album covers are in very good condition with some very minor blemishes from storage. The vinyl sheets may have the slightest bit of discoloration from age, but its real hard to notice.
