Description: Handsome fold-out 1975 Phillips 66 road map of St. Louis and vicinity, printed more than 45 years ago. The map opens to 29" x 18" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, including U.S. Route 66, with cartography by Rand McNally. The coverage area extends from Florissant to Sunset Hills, west to Overland and Crestwood, including University City, Ferguson, Webster Groves, Riverview, Clayton, Ladue, and Berkeley. There's a westward extension on the reverse side, covering the Hazelwood-Kirkwood area, along with a regional map. The map was distributed by the Phillips Petroleum Corporation in 1975 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 756058-14. Condition: The map is in very good, lightly used condition, with no rips, tears, or writing. There's a faint water stain and some tiny creases along one edge.
