Description: A very rare Banner / Wall Hanging / Souvenir from the 1974 Commonwealth Games held in New Zealand. It measures around 62cm in length and 27cm across and is a felt type material with wooden bars top and bottom as shown. There is no manufacturers name or details and it features a map of New Zealand along with event Pictograms etc. As you can see in the scans some areas are darker than others which looks like grubbiness but cannot be as it stops very neatly at the coastline edges etc. I think over the years certain colours used have darkened or the surface has slightly perished and fallen away over time. When held up to the light or on a white background it actually looks in very good condition. There are a couple of light horizontal bends or creases from being stored away but I think these will lessen over time if displayed hung up etc. OVERSEAS BUYERS....
