Description: Vintage Chippewa Falls, WI Wisconsin Holy Ghost School Cookbook 1973 -1974 edition. No other printing date listed. Cookbook is softcover, spiral bound. It measures about 6" high, 8 3/4" wide and 1/2" thick. Great recipes for cakes, frostings, desserts, cookies, candy, hot dishes, salads & dressings, this & that (breads, sauces, etc.). Recipes have the name of the person who submitted them. There are some interesting recipes. For example: prairie beer cake, fruit cocktail cookies, Hubbell House salad dressing, homemade cough syrup, and more! Cookbook is in used vintage condition. Previous owner wrote a few recipes on the last couple of blank pages in the book. They also circled some of the recipes, wrote a few corrections and some short notes on some of the pages. There is a price written on the first page with a code number. There are some stains from normal use and age discoloration on the pages and cover. Some shelf wear & crease lines on the cover; some wear on the edges and corners. The corners are bumped. Some peeling on the surface of the cover. No pages are loose, folded or missing. There are some small tears along some of the page edges. No smell or odor. Payment is due within 3 days of auction closing.
