Description: In 1972 Gillette sponsored the MLB All Star game and produced some great promo items. One of the most attractive and toughest to find is the 8 x 10 promo page ( printed on thin glossy stock) that pictured the starters for the NL & Al teams. It was given out in an 8 3/4" x 11 " folder that is also included and seems tougher to find than the promo itself. Twelve of the 16 starters are Hall of Famers. Roberto Clemente / Hank Aaron / Johnny Bench / Joe Morgan /Willie Stargell /Joe Torre / Reggie Jackson / Carl Yastrzemski / Brooks Robinson /Rod Carew /Luis Aparicio /Dick Allen. Also pictured are Bill Freehan-Bobby Murcer-Lee May-- Bobby Kessinger. Pitchers are not shown. Little is known about the exact distribution method but it must have been very limited... I have only seen a few in over the years..Great group of players--- scarce attractive issue. Nice condition free shipping
